THE MISSION
Founded in 2021, Plymouth Patriots Basketball Club was launched with three main goals:
To give children from the age of 4 upwards the opportunity to play Basketball, and to positively engage with the sport to the very best of their ability.
To provide unrestricted access to the sport of Basketball across Devon, Cornwall and the wider Southwest, from junior through to senior level.
To have a positive impact on the community of Plymouth and its surrounding counties; promoting young people, providing inclusive opportunities, whilst driving excellence and aspiration through Basketball.
OUR OBJECTIVES
To engage people in the Plymouth community and wider surrounding areas through coaching, play, match attendance and social media exposure.
Provide opportunities for free access to the sport to the most deprived communities in the area.
To mentor and develop young people giving them enhanced life opportunities.
Provide health education and activity to families in socially disadvantaged communities.
